Nathan Cyprys
Two Ships, in the Night, 2026
Photographed over a two week trip to Hawai'i in 2024, this project is both a travel diary of landscapes and plants of the Polynesian island, as well as a meditation on cross-border friendships and their impact on our experience of place.
Nathan Cyprys is a Montreal-born photographer and artist (OCAD '10) based in Toronto, Canada. His award winning work has appeared in The New York Times, The Globe & Mail, Maclean's Magazine and De Volkskrant, among many others. When not busy shooting, he can be found playing guitar or tending to his flower garden.
